Homo Photosyntheticus lab: invitation to a regional Soil Assembly

23 November 2024, Antre-peaux, Bourges, France

To mark the end of the long-term residency program “Homo Photosyntheticus” led by Maya Minder and Ewen Chardronnet at Antre Peaux since 2021, they propose a public regional Soil Assembly on Saturday, November 23 to discuss various experiments between art, design, soil ecology and ecological and food transition in the Centre-Val-de-Loire Region and beyond.

The regional Soil Assembly is supported by the Nouvelles Renaissances program of the Région Centre-Val-de-Loire.

The Regional Soil Assembly will extend the research presented in the journal The Laboratory Planet #6: Planetary Peasants published in July 2024 as part of More-Than-Planet.

The regional Soil Assembly takes the form of a day of presentations and round tables, which will conclude with a performance of The deplantationocene project / Vibrer avec les levures by Denis Chartier, followed by an evening on Japan with a lecture by Leila Chakroun on permaculture and the poetry of satoyamas, and a preview of the film research work of the Roscosmoe Lab on nori aquaculture in southern Japan with Ewen Chardronnet, Maya Minder and Quentin Aurat.
